At Baan Tharn Namchai we think it very important that our children
learn to work and to give. They are poor children but they understand
that there are children in even worse situations than themselves.
To this end they had a meeting with Rotjana and described how they
would like to help other children devastated by a tsunami.
At 8 o’clock in the morning we loaded everyone up and went down to
the local morning market. From there we moved on to the main street
and the steps of the bank.
A quick lunch and a nap for the little ones then we were off to the
market in Kao Lak before coming back to Takua Pa for the evening
Everyone did their bit. The older girls performed the very beautiful very classical Manora dance
